Benefit Cheek Stars Reunion Tour Full Size Palette

I bought this because I like a nice face palette but it’s not great when some of the colors disagree with you. But this time, all of these colors agreed with me But this has the sugarbomb and hoola so I bought it. I had used sugarbomb (and I loved it) in the past and I thought they had discontinued it and I have a hard time duping anything. I love everything about it except the brush. I wish they would’ve put another highlighter in there

I originally bought this palette because I wanted to try the Cookie highlighter but also knew I liked Benefit's Hoola bronzer (I also use Hoola light since I have more fair skin). Ever since receiving this in the mail I haven't stopped using it, I honestly wasn't expecting to use the other colors but I now use Sugarbomb as my blush every day on top of the hoola bronzer. I am VERY picky when it comes to my blush but all of those shades together makes such a natural flush. I also was expecting to still need to use my Hoola light bronzer because my skin is more pale from the winter, but I haven't needed to use it because I just lightly apply the one from this palette (making sure to get my neck & ears) and it looks perfect. This has simplified my makeup bag which I really don't ever aim to do unless I am truly in love since I am picky about my makeup (I have a lot of other highlighters, blushes, and bronzers that are nice). But now I really do have my FAVORITE bronzer, blush, and highlighter all in one and I'm so happy! This will be PERFECT for travel instead of having lots of individual makeup.

I want to love this but I have two major complaints. First, it has a sickeningly floral scent. I do not like scents in my powders, especially not floral scents. Second, the packaging it terrible. It is very bulky and then after two uses, the insert that has the powders in it came off from the cardboard packaging. When I tried to de-pot the powders, it was a disaster because the insert is hard plastic and it had no give. Then when I pried the powders out, they cracked. I was able to press them back in carefully and put them in a magnetic palette, but it should not have been that much work for a palette. The powders are so pretty but between the strong scent and the faulty packaging, I would not recommend this.

This palette includes full size products in lovely complimentary tones and shades to work brilliantly with each other. I'm excited to experiment with all the products in this palette, as I've been eyeing some of these up for a while. However, I'm not sure these products would work with all skin tones.
