Belted Denim Skirt

I saw the skirt and it was a great deal. I usually wear a two in a skirt, but only the four was available and other reviewers said it ran small so I gave it a shot. But it was too big. I thought the color would be good because it wasn’t white but not sure I liked it. But I think if it fit, it would be cute.

I am only 5’2”and a bit top-heavy with the round belly. I weigh almost 145. The size 8 skirt fit pretty well and I like where it hit me just above the knee. I really bought this for a summer outfit because I am very uncomfortable in the heat and I needed a skirt to wear with short sleeve tops. But here’s the catch. On me personally, but perhaps not on others, this skirt looked only good with a long sleeve sweater. And that defeats my whole purpose for the summer. But that said, I highly recommend for women who are petite unless you really like short skirts if you’re tall and OK with your belly.
