If they had size 2 or 4 I would've ordered those and went with what fit better. This was my first time trying this brand. The size chart indicated I should be in a 6 and that's all that was left anyway. I typically wear 4-6 depending on the brand. My natural waist is 26", full hip is 39.5". According to the size chart these should have fit my hips as is or slightly smaller. Waists never fit me on jeans so I knew it would be a little bit big, but not as much as it was. The measurements on these are 30" waist (really??? for a size 6? and these are high waisted, no true size 6 has a 30" waist at that point.), 39.5" hip, 28" rise - these are super high rise, it's almost comical. The item description is wrong too, I just spotted that it said pleated front. It's just pressed with a pleat fold. There are no pleats or pintucks so don't let that deceive you. Sometimes I can luck out with high rise because I have a butt so that takes up the room in the rise. There was no measurement give for the rise. For reference mine is 22" (short) and these are 28". Had I known this information I would have passed up on these, but they were on sale and I liked the style and color. Color is ecru or off white. Not white. Even the images online look brighter than what they are in person, but they definitely have a yellow hue. I'm going to reluctantly keep these and throw them in the wash and dryer, hot settings. Let's see how much they shrink. I've got to hem them several inches and take in the waistband quite a bit. I won't be ordering from this brand again unless I can try it on in person. If you have more of an average American woman's frame (H frame, no seat, long rise, long legs) these might fit you better. Might...
