Stop inVESTigating and buy this vest
Great light weight vest, perfect for California "Winters." I was looking for an everyday vest that could be worn casually or in more professional settings, but wanted something different than the ubiquitous Patagonias seen everywhere. This Barbour vest hit all the right notes, with a moderately slim fit that's hard to beat. I absolutely recommend this vest.

Not great fit for slimmer/athletic builds.
not a great fit for slimmer body types. Also, I expected better quality from the brand. Felt a little cheap. Returned.

High quality material, but not fitted as described
The jacket is well designed with high quality materials. I would have loved to keep this but the sizing was not as described. Other reviews and the description stated it was fitted and to size up. I purchased size L, normally size M for most brands. The chest and shoulders fitted well however there was at way too much room around the waist, at least 3 inches on each side after zipping closed. I am 6'0", 185 pounds, 40 inch chest, 34 in waist.

great quality, nice style but too tight
Very disappointed because I really like the vest, but it is too tight if I have a warm sweater or sweatshirt under it. This is the first time a Large coat, jacket, vest or shirt hasn't fit me just fine.

Size up on this one, it runs really small. My husband is usually a large, sometimes an extra large depending on the cut. I had to order an XXL and it's still a little tight but that's the largest size they offer in this vest. Other than the sizing issue, it's true to Barbour. Its a really nice vest!

GREAT vest ! not too heavy ... just perfect
I purchased this in a size L for my son-in-law and he hasn’t stopped wearing it . It’s not too heavy so it’s good for casual work days. It runs a bit narrow but he’s tall and thin so it’s fine. I just ordered another one in a size M for my other son-in-law who I’m sure will also love it. It’s almost sold out so don’t hesitate to order this winner .
