Modern Liddesdale Quilted Jacket

This jacket was perfect for what I was looking for. It has a slightly oversized fit, as in I typically have to go up a size or two to get a jacket to fit over my hips/butt, but a size 10 (my normal size in tops) fit me the way I wanted a jacket to fit me. There is enough room for me to wear a thick (Varley) half-zip sweater underneath without feeling constricted in the arms. But there is also enough room for me to button the coat all the way down without pulling in the hips. It almost fits like a swing coat where there is more room in the hips. So if you are more narrow in the hips or if you've complained that things around your hips make them look bigger, this may not be the fit for you. For reference, I typically wear a size 10 in tops and that can be a medium or a large depending on whose making the shirt. But I am short and have no torso, so I can also wear a small if it has no buttons. In bottoms, it heavily depends on the retailer but if I want to sit in my jeans and breathe at the same time I get a size 31/32 in Paige's Flaunt Denim.
