Looks cheap
When I saw this jacket I couldn't wait to purchase it. When I received it is was very disappointing! First of all, it fits like a paper bag with no shape. I ordered my usual size, medium.
The gold hardware looks very cheap and lightweight. It is on it's way back.

Beautiful & unique
I'm mad for plaid and for green. This year, green finally returns!! This jacket also hits where a jacket *should* - not cropped and not tunic length. I'm 5ft4 and am really tired of two options in jackets - either cropped (why buy a jacket) or ridiculously long (like I need to look any shorter). This jacket actually has side pockets, which in a jacket should be a given. Usually I prefer hardware in silver, but this jacket is so unique and gorgeous that I let it slide. It does run a bit big, but Barbour clothes do have generous sizing. I'm between a 10 and 12 US and got the 8 US in this and there's still plenty of room for a bulky sweater underneath. It's timeless and will last forever -- if you like plaid & green, you'll love this jacket.
