What it is: A silicone-free conditioner designed to help reawaken salon-fresh blonde color while conditioning, smoothing, softening and detangling.
Who it's for: Ideal for those with blonde, grey or naturally silver hair.
What it does: Violet-rich pigments help neutralize unwanted yellow or brassy tones for hair that is brighter and more illuminated. A blend of nourishing lightweight oils including açai and passionfruit hydrate and condition over-processed hair, returning incredible softness to each strand. This conditioner also helps restore smoothness and instantly resurfaces the hair fiber so that it is left feeling smooth and healthy. For added nourishment, this treatment also contains a conditioning blend of naturally-derived emollients including jojoba, sunflower and macadamia nut. It's scented with Aveda's own pure-fume™ aroma with notes of osmanthus, certified-organic orange and cedarwood.
How to use: Apply to clean, wet hair. Let sit for 1–3 minutes, then rinse.

Great highlighter
Bought it after my new hair change, soft balayage in needed of some more attention after bleached it. My hairstylist told it will be more hydrating if I use the conditioner or mask in purple than shampoo and I am really grateful for her advice. This purple conditioner highlighted my balayage so nicely.

ZERO STARS
Worst shampoo and conditioner for my blonde highlights that I've ever used. Extremely drying. Product bottle on the conditioner is broken. Such a majorly disappointing purchase. Aveda products have been in rotation for decades, but my last several purchases were big disappointments. Finally threw these bottles out because it's ruining my hair! Thankfully I have the Aveda intensive hair repair mask because it's the only way I'd be able to get a comb through this dry, tangled nest after each wash, rinse condition. What a miss! I strongly recommend you try another product or get a sample of this before investing so much money to make sure you like it and it that it doesn't suck the life out if your expensive salon highlighted hair. Aveda used to be so good-shocked by the poor quality of several products I purchased. Bummer. Used to be one of my favourite brands!

Helps preserve color
I was hesitant to purchase based on reviews, however, I must say this conditioner does help to preserve my color and prevent brassiness. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to moisturize as much so I've been adding a dab of other conditioners, especially to ends.

Not my favorite
I used to use the Blue Shampoo & Conditioner by Aveda, before they had the Blonde Purple shampoo and conditioner and it was okay, but wasn't as good as purple shampoo and conditioner. So when I got samples of the purple shampoo and conditioner by Aveda I liked the small amount I had to use for both and how my hair looked so I got online and ordered by accident two of each. Well that was a double mistake. The shampoo is runny like water and the conditioner doesn't help like a conditioner should, I kept losing my hair because of how tangled it was. So I stopped using it and switched for now to only the Aveda Botanical Repair Shampoo and Conditioner because those are amazing!!
