An impressive 7-layer construction ensures superior heat distribution and retention in this stainless-steel pan that's a go-to for frying and browning.
What it does: This durable pan provides unparalleled frying, perfect browning and exceptional heat distribution and retention. The specialized 7-ply construction, boasting an aluminum core, is used up to the edge so that heat is spread evenly over the entire surface of the pan. Proprietary technology ensures the base stays flat and won't warp when heated. The ergonomic, stay-cool handles are securely welded and extremely hygienic, thanks to a unique welding technology that doesn’t use rivets. The helper handle allows for easy maneuvering.
Additional features: The patented Silvinox® surface treatment maintains the silvery finish, is easy to clean and resists fingerprints, harsh detergents and strong acidic foods. The rolled rims of the pan encourage dripless, no-mess pouring.

Item discolored immediately!
I'm returning. It cooks food beautifully, distributes heat wonderfully but I don't understand why it discolored after two uses! I made dumplings in it, nothing even that fancy. I'm very sad and disappointed.

In addition, overheating the Pan can cause discoloration. We suggest preheating the Pan using a medium setting, then the oil and foods this will help with the temperature fluctuation. Demeyere Atlantis 7 Proline 32cm Fry Pan
This pan is an endgame frypan for any professional or home cook. Build quality is excellent, heat retention, distribution and response is wonderful. It is a pleasure to on practically any heating element. My only caution is that the pan may be too massive and not heat up properly for those with smaller or underpowered electric heating elements.

Good pan, perhaps not for induction.
After two weeks of usage my amica induction died. I saw a spark at the bottom of the pan and boom - induction dead. Someone pointed to me that this pan may have requirements on induction but can't find any info on that.
Otherwise it's a good pan.
