Brightening Gommage Brightening Facial Exfoliator

I love it! This is a great product for weekly or twice-weekly exfoliation. It gets rid of most of the dryness of even the worst winter skin, and it does brighten and reduces fine lines. I even use it on my dry eyelids and there's no irritation. Follow the instructions and use on a slightly damp (not really wet# face and let it sit for 20 minutes or so. Don't use it in the shower - it's a waste. Leaving it on for those 20 minute or so really makes a difference. I recently starting using several Arcona products and my skin looks better than it has in a long time. I will be buying this again #and again and again...)

I started using the Brightening Gommage in August and my acne scars are lightening up. I was already using the Cranberry Gommage (which is the best scrub I have ever used), but I wanted the brightening power. The wonderful ladies Arcona told me it was okay to alternate both scrubs. Its great in the morning, the Brightening Gommage has this minty/lemon scent and really wakes me up. Best to leave it on for the two minutes (like a mask) after you scrubbed. I use all ARCONA's acne products for the last year and half, my skin has never looked better. I battled acne for over ten years and ARCONA is the first brand to not only work but to keep working. Buy one of the travel kits and give it a try for a month, your skin will thank you.

I have to say it again. This is the second Arcona product I've tried with an unpleasant scent. I chose it because it is one of the top-rated exfoliants on Nordstrom, and it does indeed make my skin feel beautiful. Am undecided about rebuying, though, because the scent is so off-putting. It's a heavily-chemical citrus scent, like a diet lemonade, with some other weird chemical undertones. Extremely unpleasant. So far I have been using it while trying to avoid smelling it (which is not going well as a process), because it does work so well, but I think after this I'll be giving up and looking for another brand.

After trying the cranberry gommage trial size (and liking it) I thought Id try the full size brightening gommage next since it says it helps with skin tone. I like this better than the cranberry gommage for two reasons. First is it says what it does, even out pigmentation and second it leaves my face tingling with a minty fresh sensation which I love (especially in the morning). Besides these two reasons it also does a pretty decent job taking off dead skin. The beads are like nothing I've ever used before but one downside is I think this (along with the cranberry gommage) could be too rough for certain people. I have sensitive skin and I rub very gently and not for very long before rising it off. I use this twice a week or so along with a gel peeling exfoliate once a week that takes off whatever skin the gommage missed. Overall I will continue to use this product since the results are great.

I purchased this product because I used a sample, and saw results after one use. My face was brighter, and neck tone more even in appearance. I couldn't wait to get the full size product. I would definitely recommend it, and will continue to buy regularly. It is bringing a youthful glow back to my face. It is the best product I have found for exfoliating.

I don't use this often enough to speak to the "brightening" effect. However, I love the fact that this feels like you are truly being exfoliated. My skin is incredibly soft after use. Not for the sensitive skin types. Feels literally like you are rubbing sand on your skin. But not in a bad way. Also has an amazing scent.
