Stick Highlighter

The packaging is very nice and neither lid pops off. it’s easy to apply and stays on for a LONG time. it doesn’t give you a hard time when trying to layer it over foundation or concealer like other stick highlighters do, which is a priority for me. it leaves a pretty, gold/bronze finish and is perfect for everyday use. It also lasts a long time.

I was browsing thru my highlighters looking for a copper toned one for a client and came across this beautiful Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighter in hot sand. It’s a lovely medium copper with bronze undertones. It definitely has a golden shimmer mixed in as well. Stunning in the sun. This had excellent color payoff, almost semi-opaque with one swipe. Works better on bare skin. I found that the brush it comes with moves the product a little too much, lifting the base product a little. It was better just tapping it in with my fingers. This shade lasts about 7 hours on my normal skin before fading noticeably. Beautiful color

I’m going thru my stash of highlighters and came across this golden beauty from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I do remember the line having different shades and some not being as good as the others. This shade is called bubbly and it is a lighter shade of gold with warm undertones and a soft sheen. This has a nice amount of pigment with one swipe, definitely buildable to a “medium” amount of coverage. I didn’t have any issues with this settling into my fine lines or emphasizing texture. The brush would cause the product to move around too much, even lifting some of my base product. It works much better by tapping the product in with your fingers. I have normal skin type and this lasts about 8 hours of me before showing signs of fading

It glides so smoothly and gives your makeup a beautiful sparkle, adding a bit of extra radiance. I love how easy it is to apply. The creamy texture gives me a that glow, and the soft mini brush helps smooth out any excess. For that gorgeous sheen that hits the light just right and illuminates my lids, cheeks, and cupids bow for that extra glow. It’s easy to remove with my face wash or makeup remover. Anastasia highlighter stick is in my makeup bag forever.
