Insert bubbled
I was so happy with this product until the insert started to bubble. The coating literally started to look like it was cooking. Then it "popped " and is peeling. That can't be food safe, right? I am super careful to never use metal utensils so It would not scratch but still. I do love all of my other All-Clad products however I will not be purchasing another slow cooker from All-Clad as they won't even replace the insert.

Short Life Span
This is a great slow cooker; however, it has a short life. I planned on cooking a meal using this week and it is totally dead.

Love Mine
I love mine! I have the 7 quart. I like that I can braise meat on the stove top before using the slow cook option.

I’ve had it for over 10 years
I’ve owned mine over 10 years. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, I absolutely love mine. It still looks brand new and I use it a lot in fall and winter, at least once a week if not more. I use it on the stovetop to sear meat or brown ground beef before I finish it in the crock pot. I never use metal servingware and clean it right away. I make sure it’s completely dry before I put it away or I leave the top off. Well worth the investment.
