Very nice

My first attempt at these boots I ordered a size 40 which is around size 10 US. I normally wear a size 8 and wanted a 9 to have room for larger socks but it wasn't available. They were far too big but a size 39 (9) was available when I looked after deciding to return mine. I exchanged and the size 9 arrived today. They fit perfectly. They are snug in the calf area but I wore them around my house for a few hours and they have loosened up. I suspect the leather will give more as I continue to wear them. The color is beautiful (I ordered tan) and I love the style. I was looking for a boot that had a side zipper all the way down and these are perfect. These are just what I was looking for and I am very happy with them.

Still Deciding...

I've been on the hunt for a knee high boot without a heel and some character. I found what I was looking in these boots. The calf area is a little tight, so I went from a 38 to 39 and my jeans fit in them fine and they still aren't too loose for skirts/dresses. My complaint is that there isn't much padding in the foot bed and the leather is a little stiff. That may be because they are new and the reason I am giving these boots 3 stars. For the design, I give it a 5.

Still Deciding...

Good for narrow feet/legs

I've been on the hunt for a good pair of black boots for a while. These totally meet my needs. I have a narrow foot and pretty small calves so definitely not for everyone. Agreed that the leather is a little stiff and the foot bed is not well-cushioned. However, they look great and I'm not uncomfortable while wearing them. I tried on maybe 10 pairs overall and these were the best by far.

No Cushion

These boots felt bare on the inside, there was no cushion and they were very stiff (expected with leather I guess). They made my feet look huge so I returned them. They may be ok for some people, just not me.

Happy, not thrilled

I have been on the hunt for a long time. These are suuuuper cute, which, let's be honest, is all that matters! But be sure to get your correct size! Mine are a little big but the calf is VERY snug. I am very average sized so I don't think it's just me. In some other reviews, people have mentioned that they're uncomfortable. I don't necessarily agree although I think they could benefit from some more arch support and may get insoles to add. Overall, I'm quite pleased.

Love 'em

Just got these for Xmas, and have received so many compliments. Comfortable, well-made, and beautiful. Really classic riding boot style. Leather is very good quality. Highly recommend.
