Finger pulls and elastic twin gores make these shoes easy to slip on and off. Inside these men's Romeo shoes, Georgia Boot added a high-performance lining to wick moisture away and keep your feet dry. Likewise, the mesh-covered cushioned insole is soft and comfortable. For additional cushioning, these slip-on shoes have an EVA midsole. The Goodyear welt construction makes the structure of these shoes extremely stable and enhances the footwear's durability and strength. And with this construction, after years of wear, you can take these Georgia Giant Romeos to a shoe repairman and have the outsole completely replaced. These Romeo work shoes have a steel shank that helps you maintain steady footing and supports the arches of your feet. A Georgia Giant slip resistant polyurethane outsole resists abrasion, chemicals and oils.

Issues with Romeo soles. What changed?
Not happy with my mens giant Romeo. Have been a repeat customer for years and have never had a complaint until this pair. I ordered a pair for me and for my wife. After only 3 weeks I have a couple chunks out of the soles and they squeak on linoleum and tile floors. Only pair to ever do this. Very embarrassing when I went to the grocery store. I do light work around the shop and there is no clear reason for the damage to soles. They are not the same soles as my last 4 pairs somehow. Very disappointed. Will see how Georgia handles this before I jump ship. Love my old romeos

I’ve owned several pair and the sole has two brads in them that keeps coming thru the bottom inside the shoe, cost to much for this to happen ever six months

Great overall everyday boot.
I've bought 3 pairs of these boots throughout 6-7 years. Being a size 16 it's very hard to find boots in general, let alone good boots. I'm extremely hard on my shoes and have never had a pair last as long as these. From the saw mill to creek fishing, and even when they get cleaned up out to dinner. They dry out nicely, and unlike other boots of the same style don't form holes in the toe crease. They are a bit snug to slip on out of the box but after one or two days are just right. The only reason I've had to replace them is from wearing out the treads/souls combined with standing in knee deep water probably hundreds of times knowing they aren't meant for that but still stand up well being constantly submerged. When I know I'm going fishing for bait I'll throw on an old pair now. Just an overall great boot for my big boats.

Worth buying again
2nd pair. Bought a long handle shoe horn and they go on much easier. Soles could last a bit longer and the lining tends to pill up. Didn't get the steel toe version as I have other shop boots.
