Maybole Penny Loafer

I have wide feet but find most docs fit me well. For some reason, these shoes are very narrow with almost no give around the instep. Theres a piece of leather stitched across the instep which is very restricting. I normally wear an 8 and have tried on other maybole styles in this size without issue, so it’s definitely something about this loafer. Such a shame as it’s a gorgeous shoe! Would recommend sizing up or trying these on in store if you have wide feet.

Soft leather, the backing is also padded and does not need breaking into. The toe box is roomy and your toes are not squashed. The leather is a soft leather. Not heavy. The comfort is insanely good. It’s really underrated shoe. If they sold it in other colours I would pay full price. The backing cuts your heel so you never feel like your foot is going to lift out.
