Destin Slingback Flat

From the online photo I thought this shoe would be a good alternative to a ballet flat for summer. Sadly, it just doesn't look right on my feet. The fit is true-to-size. The severe square toe combined with the strap across the foot just makes my medium width feet look very wide and unattractive. The effect is too extreme of a "Mary Jane" design instead of an elegant yet simple shoe that I wanted. When walking, the back "slaps" against my heel which makes a rather loud noise (similar to wearing flip-flops). Sadly, I returned them.

The only issue I have is the buckle….quelle nightmare! I have narrow feet and need to adjust buckles like these to the tightest hole, which usually takes seconds to fix. These shoes took forever to adjust and really beat up my fingers in the process. I know that sounds wimpy, but it really was an ordeal. Happy that’s over and I can now enjoy the easy on-and-off cuteness of the shoe. If you have skinny feet, prepare yourself.

I got these in the saddle tan suede and I'm SO happy with them! They are adorable on, but they also have really nice padding in the footbed, so they are super comfortable. Both straps were too big and I was worried since the back strap isn't adjustable. But, once I adjusted the top strap to to lowest setting, they were just fine. No regrets with this purchase, and I can't wait to pair them with my cute fall outfits!

PROS: The style of these shoes is cute and on-trend. They fit like a true size 6. There is some padding on the bottom of the shoe, so that part feels comfortable. CONS: The color is a little bit more orange than I expected. The cut at the toes is strange - and hits my feet at a weird spot. Which is very uncomfortable. Just wearing on carpet for 10 minutes i could tell that they will give me blisters and be hard to wear. Final sale I guess, so I'm stuck with them.

I purchased these because I needed a cute low-heeled shoe to wear for Women's Day at my church. I tried them on. They look nice on my feet and are comfortable. I cannot wait to wear them!

I have had these for I think 2 weeks now and have worn them at least 5 full days and so far I love them! I also have this same style in a burgundy patent leather. The burgundy ones are a little tighter in the toe box, but this suede fabric pair is soooo comfortable. I love the little block heel in the back and how the slingback is nice and airy but still dressy. I need these in so many more colors and fabrics please!
