Destin Slingback Flat (Women)

The only issue I have is the buckle….quelle nightmare! I have narrow feet and need to adjust buckles like these to the tightest hole, which usually takes seconds to fix. These shoes took forever to adjust and really beat up my fingers in the process. I know that sounds wimpy, but it really was an ordeal. Happy that’s over and I can now enjoy the easy on-and-off cuteness of the shoe. If you have skinny feet, prepare yourself.

From the online photo I thought this shoe would be a good alternative to a ballet flat for summer. Sadly, it just doesn't look right on my feet. The fit is true-to-size. The severe square toe combined with the strap across the foot just makes my medium width feet look very wide and unattractive. The effect is too extreme of a "Mary Jane" design instead of an elegant yet simple shoe that I wanted. When walking, the back "slaps" against my heel which makes a rather loud noise (similar to wearing flip-flops). Sadly, I returned them.

I got these in the saddle tan suede and I'm SO happy with them! They are adorable on, but they also have really nice padding in the footbed, so they are super comfortable. Both straps were too big and I was worried since the back strap isn't adjustable. But, once I adjusted the top strap to to lowest setting, they were just fine. No regrets with this purchase, and I can't wait to pair them with my cute fall outfits!

I’ve been wearing these for about a month now and the soles are already peeling on one foot. It’s expected as it’s synthetic & not genuine leather, but I thought they’d last longer than a month. I don’t have a wide foot so I got medium width, but found that the shoes rubbed and hurt my pinky toe a lot, especially after an 8 hour shift (even after a month of wearing them). I got the mustard brown multi color and have gotten many compliments on them— they look just like the picture and are super cute! They are also true to size in terms of length. The peeling sole is the main reason for the four star rating. I live in a humid climate and have had other faux leather shoes last longer than the faux leather sole on these.
