uncomfortable
These run very narrow (and I do not have wide feet) and thus very uncomfortable. They look fine on but without a zipper and a very narrow toe they can use some improvements.

Really nice, versatile boots
I bought these in the black leather and I am really happy with the style. They're not too long in the toe and the heel is the perfect height. I can't wear high heels anymore and these seem like they'd be comfortable to wear all day. They are pretty easy to get on & off despite not having a zipper. The elastic gussets on the sides have a good amount of stretch and the ankle and shaft are fitted enough to wear with a slimmer leg jean/pant. The only reason I took off a start is because I feel like they're a bit narrow in the toe/side of foot. I have another pair of Matisse boots I bought last year in the sale with a pointy toe and I took my normal size 8 and they're so comfy. These ones are not as comfy and I wish I'd gone up to a size 8.5 but now they're sold out in that size. Since they're real leather I'm sure they'll stretch some and get more comfy with wear (hopefully) so I'm going to keep them.
