The search is finally over
I cannot express enough, how incredibly comfortable this boot is compared to the brand I normally buy. I am so in love. I will never buy the other brand of boots. I am between sizes and typically when I have to order up because of a whole size issue, the shoe will not fit. I opted to order a 6 1/2. I am between 6 1/2 and seven and the 6 1/2 is a perfect fit with a sock on for wearing in the winter. The height of the heel is perfect. The block is easy to walk on. The leather is soft. I plan to buy this boot in every color that I do not already own. The next time one comes back in stock in my size.

Floppy zippers
Normally I love this brand. I have multiple pairs of their boots 2 pairs are over 20 years old. They are my go to boot. Always comfortable and very stylish. I have tried for years to find a replacement that fits snugly around my calf but it’s been tough. These boots are the closest I have come. They fit good around the calf could still be a little tighter but this works. They are very comfortable. I love the heal height and the sturdiness of the heal. But…. the prominent floppy zipper in the ankle area detracts from the style of the boot and the pull tab could be smaller. True to size.

I wanted to love
The fit is great. The calf is perfect but they just do not hold their shape. Once on, they totally collapse and become slouchy around the ankle and midway up. I wanted to love. They just don’t have the structure that is pictured.

such a weird fit
The bottom shoe part of these boots are very stiff and feel like good quality- 2 stars for that- but the top part (from the ankle up) is very floppy and fits really loose and look so weird, I’m not even sure the top and bottom part are made of the same material. I have an average calf width and got the regular and it was very loose. Will be returning
