Bed Stu

Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

Love the look and feel
Love the look and feel of this belt. It is very wide, so it doesn't fit with all of my pants, but I do not regret the purchase.

The coloring of the belt
The coloring of the belt I love but the 1st time I wore it the leather started separating from the lining of the belt. I have it in black lux and have had it over a year with no issues. I do want to order the darker brown but don't want the same issues.

Beautiful leather and buckle -
Beautiful leather and buckle - just like the photos on the website. As mentioned, it is wide, so it only works with certain jeans that I own, and I deducted a star because there's no loop to catch the end of the belt if I'm wearing it with a skirt or dress or pants with loops that don't fit the width of the belt, so it just flops around. (The clothing tape that I have isn't strong enough to hold it apparently). Also I'd recommend sizing up. I'm a womens 8/29 and I needed a large.

Great Color Green
I now have four Bed Stu belts and several pairs of BedStu shoes. This green belt is a really pretty color and the buckle makes a great statement. It is a bit big for my belt loops but will soften with time so I'm not concerned. I like the width. The only issue I have with Bed Stu belts is similar to Bed Stu shoes. Sizing is inconsistent. My 4 belts are all exactly the same length but are sizes, L, L, XL and XXL. I have learned to error on purchasing the larger size and that seems to be working out.
