I ordered the wide width because I have a high arch and a high step. The high step in particular makes the ankle area wider and the overall foot wider because of volume. This means the foot is deeper from the soul of the foot to the top of versus someone with an actual wide foot. One would expect when they order wide width footwear, in particular, a boot that the ankle area would be wider to accommodate. This boot won’t even zip. Extremely disappointed. The design team needs to really examine what a wide width means because it isn’t just the shoe. It’s also the area that goes around the step and the ankle. Disappointed and need to return.

I used to love Lifestride but the changed their sizing and footbed material in 2025. I have been a 6.5 M for years and now they fit small. The curve of the toe is different and bad now. It is too narrow even in a wide size. These once super comfy shoes are mow uncomfortable and I will be returning them.
