Harriet Waterproof Knee High Boot (Women)

I got these on a whim to replace another pair. I have so much trouble finding tall boots because I'm only 5'4" and most come up too high and/or they are too big at the top of the calf. This one comes below the knee (I like to stick with under 15" or 14.5" inches). They are soft enough to accommodate my foot surgery. I normally take a 7M in sandals and a 7.5M-8M in boots and sneakers. I took a 7.5M here and they were perfect. I'm super happy with these.

These were attractive boots, but very tight on my normal size 9 feet - and I was only wearing thin socks for try-on. While the stretch back panel was ok, I would have preferred a full leather boot, especially since they were advertised as "waterproof." In short, while well-constructed & nice looking boots, these just didn't meet my criteria for "keepers," if I'd been able to get a larger size. I had previously ordered the same style in black suede & they fit perfectly and felt wonderful, like I could walk all day in them, so I thought the sizing would be similar in the black leather. Lesson learned-need to try each pair!
