Ona Ave Platform Sneaker

I liked the feel of these and they seem very well made. However, I decided that I didn’t like the way the toe looked. At size 10, I don’t want. My shoes to make my feet look any bigger than they are. This shoe did that so I decided to return them. Note to shoe companies: adding some stitching or a design to the toe makes sneakers more interesting and keeps them from looking so big past the laces.

I can’t wear shoes that squeak with every step and move I make — it’s as simple as that.

These Sorel sneakers have a solid, rubber platform to keep your feet dry during a Summer storm or during Fall’s rain. The patterned soles will keep your feet on the ground in any wet areas. The platforms are not heavy and don’t add the weight I was expecting. I love that I can get Sorel quality and durability in a stylish sneaker that can be worn year round. These are my new favorite sneakers.

The design is super cute, and I love the added height from the platform—it’s surprisingly comfortable. Like someone mentioned, they do squeak on hardwood floors. They also run a bit short, so I went up half a size. One downside is the tongue—it’s pretty stiff and can feel uncomfortable on the top of your foot. I’m still undecided between the yellow-tone sole and the white sole on the Cole Haan Grandpro Topspin. The Sorels have a chunkier, more casual vibe, while the Cole Haans look more like a classic, minimalist sneaker.

The shoes are ok. They aren't the most comfortable. I feel like the shoe tongue hurts my ankle. I'm still trying to break them in.

I loved the height of the soles. Wore with a leather skirt and cute tee for a concert. The show has a nice soft leather with can be dressed up or down.
