Rocky Top Western Boot (Women)

This is a stunning boot and seems very well made but I absolutely cannot get my right foot into it. I was able to get the left one on and the fit is correct for my normal 7.5 and there seems to be great support. Even though this is a short shaft it is just too narrow for me. And my feet are actually on the narrow side. I know part of the problem is that I had right ankle replacement so my foot is not as flexible as most people. Even with that I would have thought that having a shaft as short as this would have negated the issue but the ankle itself is far too narrow. I’m sure it would give with wear and loosen up over time but I’m too scared that if I force my ankle in that I won’t be able to get the boot off without injury. Really wish these had worked!

I wish these boots could have worked for me. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 in boots but ordered these in a 7.5 based on reviews. These boots fit well and were comfortable. They looked great with jeans. However, they arrived with a very strong chemical odor from the leather treatment that gave me a headache. I tried airing them outside for a few days, but the odor was still too strong for me. Unfortunately I had to send them back.

These arrived packed well but the boot shaft of both boots was curved into the ankle giving them a weird appearance. Not sure how to fix this issue, but quality boots should not do this. I ordered the white in a size 10. They fit fine. I have a long narrow foot and sometimes need to go up a half size to accommodate socks.
