Still the best fit and functionality.
I’ve found classic flips are the most comfortable, and has a hard sole so they’re more useful. Beware that Chacos won’t honor their warranty and may claim that a flip flop fail (side straps separate from the flip flop) is normal wear and tear. Even if you buy directly from them. I still like them better than others, so I’m just lowering my expectations. You should too.

Disappointed
I bought this sandal about a year ago. Did not expect its ribbed sole to break apart as much as it did. Super disappointed in this.
Every time I came back from floating a river more bits were missing. I had to retire this footwear vs a previous pair I wore for over 7 years nothing missing.

Product downgrade
I’ve now recently bought 2 pairs classic and rapid pro, neither are very good for me.
Previously, I have had several pairs of Chaco flip flops and sandals, and sadly the off shore products don’t match up.
Less sole material around the foot, less toe upturn, sloppy fit.
These used to be “technical flip flops” I could take in the river or hike to mountain peaks, now they slip and slop.

Ok. Seems overpriced for what it is. I’ve been buying Chacos since 2000. Much better quality back then. Since they were bought out and using new footbed technology they don’t seem at all like the “real” Chacos. Sad things always have to change.
