Prestige Tuxedo Derby

We are going to a fancy black tie wedding in Montecito, CA next weekend and my husband rarely wears a tux. He needed shoes that look expensive - but at a reasonable price-point. He tried on numerous pairs in various mens stores, but they looked inexpensive. I am picky about shoes and purses so I wanted his shoes to look high-end. We purchased several pairs from Nordstrom, JCrew, Neimans, and Saks. This pair was perfect in terms of the quality and price-point. They look comparable to a pair from Saks which cost almost $1000. The only issue we had is that my husband has a large (Size 12) foot which is also wide (bunions)....so they were narrow for him. For the average foot, the sizing width-wise would be perfect. I put some shoe stretchers in there and they should be fine by the wedding. :) My husband is happy, but more importantly, I AM HAPPY and they look super-nice and classy. ALSO one thing I will mention is that the presentation of the product was INCREDIBLE. I was surprised to open the box and see that each shoe was thoughtfully placed in a cloth bag, and they included a leather shoe-horn in the bag, as well as details on the brand. I was very impressed by this attention to detail - it shows that this brand really CARES about their consumer and the way their product is presented! Don't hesitate to purchase these - they are perfection!! :)
