Downtown Low Top Sneaker (Women)

This shoe was incredibly comfortable. I could have gone with a size seven but opted for 1/2 size larger to allow for swelling since I’m planning to take to Europe in a few weeks. Although I love the shoe - when I tried it on at home with various outfits I ended realizing it doesn’t reflect the high price tag. Sure the shoe is incredibly comfortable, it’s not narrow as most designer shoes tend to be but it just doesn’t look like what you’re paying. It’s not too flashy which I like - but ended up going w a different shoe that costs exactly the same, feels just as comfortable if not more and definitely looks like the price w/o being flashy. I wish Nordstrom carried Loro Piana ….

I finally got these Prada Downtowns after months of ogling and analyzing reviews. 90 percent of designer shoes are TTS on me. These feel slightly big, but I feel if I go half size down it'll be too small. My major disappointment is lack of Prada dust bags. For $1k shoes I expect a real and elegant dust bag, not cheap, thinly veiled, unmarked cloth. They're pretty to look at, supple and seem comfortable, and not a snug fit. But also may be easily susceptible to distressing wear and tear creases. Not sure. Now the decision to keep or return....
