Timberland
The mission of Timberland is to inspire and equip the world to step outside, work together and make it better. Founded in 1952 in Boston, the company is best known for its iconic "original yellow boot," which debuted in 1973. Those waterproof leather boots set new standards for craftsmanship, durability and protection—and still embody the spirit of all Timberland shoes made today.

Comfortable and Durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th or 5th pair of Chocoruas and, hopefully, it won't be my last. I can't even remember how long ago I bought my first pair. They last me a couple of years of daily wear as hiking, work and casual boots. Two really good things about them are that they remain waterproof until I finally wear holes in the soles (LOL!!) and they never require any break-in for me. They are immediately comfortable from the first time I put them on. I wear them EVERY day, all day long and they take whatever I dish out as work boots (I work outdoors) or outdoors adventure boots from Kentucky, where I live, to the backcountry of Alaska.

25+ plus years with this type of shoe
I have been wearing this style boot for over 20 years. It is the only brand and style I will wear. I run extremly cold so I do not trust any other brand or style to keep me warm, dry and comfortable. I have worn them for snowshoeing, sledding with the kids, cross country skiing, Christmas tree hunting etc., even over winter boots because I know that if my feet are warm, I will be warm in my outdoor activities. I run an all outdoor preschool program and before I could buy my new boots, I chose to use my old worn Timberlands over new boots. #SWEEPSTAKES

I wear my boots till my feet hurt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had back surgery. I have over 10 pairs of the same boots. I have drop foot and have to wear a brace to keep from tripping over myself in the shop. The 10-10.5 didn't fit well with the sole of the brace with an insert. I decided to order a size 11 and it fits beautifully. It is nice that I donate my old boots to a friend who works at a race track This allows him to use them till they are just about falling apart betof the conditions. I love the 12135 style and have tried others in the line, but none hold up!

I just got my third pair!
I have been wearing this version of Timberland boot for probably 15 years, and just bought my third pair. They are my "go to" for shoes every time. I like the look, comfort, ankle support, water resistance, traction, breathing, everything about them. My old pair are still really good but look rough because I don't take good care of them. But still clean-up pretty well for the abuse that I put them through. The new ones feel great, and I'm looking forward to wearing them. The price is worth it for this quality of boot, and much less than other similar hiking boots.
