the fisherman sandal of dreams
never thought I would purchase something from a brand with a name as unfortunate as “fitflop” but very glad I took a chance on these as they are the perfect chunky black fisherman. Truly it was between these and a Prada sandal and these are just great. 😂 the top of the leather is a bit stiff but still excited to wear all summer.

way too wide for those who have medium width feet
The length was spot on BUT the width was too wide which made it prone to lead to sliding off the sandal sideways making the likelihood of turning an ankle risky! Sadly I’m returning these.

i love these but…
these are a cute updated look to the fisherman sandal with its slightly elevated/platform sole. i bought in both colors. they’re comfortable and easy to slip on without having to unbuckle and look cute with everything! the only downside—which drives me absolutely crazy—is that top vertical strap. it slides from left to right and vice versa and does NOT stay centered at all for me. i’m going to try to glue it down to the straps underneath with a glue gun. i don’t know how else to remedy this. everything else about these sandals are perfect, tho. minus 1 star for the annoying strap slippage.

perfect
If you're a half size get the half. It's the perfect fit! I'm usually 8.5 and have to size up, but for these you can get half sizes. And they're like walking on a cloud.

Prefer previous year's model...
I have the predecessor of this great Fitflop sandal from last year (or 2023?) which I prefer for comfort. This ones looks cooler, but the leather on the upper front parts is so much stiffer that they hurt! The old model had buttery-soft leather form the get-go....
