So-so sandal
A super cute chunky sandal, but ultimately I returned them. The top band (with the buckle) is made of two pieces of leather joined together by an elastic strap. This elastic strap is supposed to help the shoe expand to the shape of your foot, but it is constructed poorly. It caused the top band to bend and shift as I walked, sometimes pinching my skin. If the top band would stay straight, it would have worked much better. The shoes are made of leather which is nice, but I couldn’t imagine wearing them during summer in LA as they’d be too heavy and warm. Maybe for fall or spring only. Surprisingly comfortable foot bed so you could stand in them for a long time, but can be noisy when walking
