Super comfy summer sandal
Thanks to reviewers, I got a half size smaller. I’m usually size 8 med and glad I got 7 1/2. CH is a brand that’s usually too narrow for me. However this one fits! The foot bed is slightly wide and molded to contour the foot for comfortable fit. Dark chocolate brown is even more beautiful in hand and very versatile. This sandal is a deviation from owning several pairs of birks and equally as comfortable, yes equally.

narrow and weird fit
I like the concept of the shoe but runs narrow and just fits very odd. My toes didn’t know how to act in these shoes lol

Runs a bit long and wide
Sized down a half size but the straps across the foot were still too wide and allowed too much forward movement of my foot so had to return. For reference, my foot is usually fine in a normal width shoe and even occasionally feels squeezed across the toe box. Otherwise, these are well-made, cute shoes.

Superb chocolate color
These sandals are beautiful, comfortable, and have a wide footbed. The dark chocolate color is rich and shiny. The upper leather is as smooth as the footbed but doesn´t feel slippery. I am a sharp 8.5 size, but probably because they are wide, they were big on me, so I returned them and went for a size 8.

Greek chocolate
These were just the chocolatey brown sandals I was looking for, with a nice, but not too shiny, gold buckle. My kids said "it's giving Athens," and my husband said "It's giving Jesus." Despite having leather in a lot of different weird places, nothing rubbed in a weird way, and they were very comfortable. But they were a bit too wide and utilitarian for my taste, so I'm sending them back.
