stiff for a mesh shoe
The opening is very stiff, and because the tongue is not functional/decorative, it’s hard to slide your foot in. There is a layer of mesh inside which probably keeps out dirt but also makes it less comfortable and stretchy. Was hoping this would feel like a sock knit sneaker - it doesn’t. Well made and cute but so unforgivably tight around the ankle, it hurts just having the shoe on. I usually wear a 5-5.5 and got the 6 so if anything I was expecting it to be loose.
