Ankle boots with notched sole

Love these boots a whole lot. They are the style I've been looking for. They leave no gap in the shaft of the shoes with is nice because you can wear it with short skirt, inside jeans, or rolled up pants. However I find the FR size to run smaller than EU. I'm a 8.US/39EU so I decided to do a 40 FR since a 39FR was not available. However, putting it on was a struggle. I needed a boot stick to help me slide my foot through shaft. Once inside, my toe was up close to the front. I can't wear socks with these boots. I was expecting to have room for think socks given that the 40 FR is larger than my usual size, but nope. I def recommend to size up especially if you're on to use socks thicker than pantyhose.
