Trinity Sandal (Women)

This is an attractive, versatile shoe that can “dress up or down” and has comfortable arch support. I have tried this shoe in three colors/four pairs and have had to return three pairs due to the rear ankle strap being too large (long). There is gapping all around my ankle (sides and rear) that cannot be adjusted with the front ankle strap (Velcro closure), causing my foot to lift away from the shoe with each step. Standing still, the gap is easily noticeable and wide enough I can put one or two fingers between the strap and my ankle. Really disappointed because I like the shoe and it was very comfortable otherwise and well-made. This issue with the strap was most pronounced in the Cayenne Burnished Suede (the shoe is smooth leather, not actual suede). I think this is because this particular pair of shoes appear to have come from a store where they may have been the display pair (one shoe has the price sticker on the sole, there was no card stock shoe-shaper or plastic bags protecting the shoes and the shoe box was damaged. On this pair specifically the right shoe strap was more elongated (stretched) than the left. However, the fixed-length rear strap is a design issue across all the four pairs I have tried, so the shape of my foot contributes, but not being able to adjust the back strap is a design shortcoming.
