Disappointed in Nordstrom for the first time ever. These shoes were a gift and unfortunately, the recipient found the tag on the inside of the shoe to rub in such a way that it was causing blisters on the top of her foot. Golden Goose states that everything is hand-sewn so there could be variances like this. Removing the tag (which we considered) removes the ability to authenticate the shoe, so we have not done that. Unfortunately, Nordstrom considers this to be a designer item and therefore would not allow the return. After years of dedication to the Nordstrom brand, we are extremely dissatisfied with this policy and the arbitrary assignment of “designer” to this shoe. I suspect many of the designers whose items are being sold in Nordstrom would have questions about why their items are so easily returnable and why they don’t also have this designation. Allowing this return would change the review on Nordstrom, but unfortunately, the shoe’s quality related to the tag issue keeps the rating the same. Buyer beware.
