Dudley Plain Toe Lug Boot (Men)

This was my first foray into dress boats. I was always dubious that a dress boat would look much different than a dress show with a similar lug sole. Wow, like everybody can tell the difference. I don't think I have ever bought a shoe that received some many compliments on the first day into the office. I have several other size10 J&M shoes and this boot was true to fit. At first, i thought it was a little stiff and restrictive to allow a normal gait so, I do not use the top speed hooks. The leather quickly warms to your feet and in short time, they feel like they have melted onto your felt. I like them so much that I'm already eyeing my next pair of boots.

Have had a lot of J&M boots They all break in very fast and are all very comfortable I wear these 8-10 hours a day everyday The reason only a 4 star is because J&M doesn’t have these with the upper leather padding anymore and until they are completely broke in they chafe the side of my legs So I can’t lace them up all the way

They run a half size small seemingly and frankly are not as comfortable as my other Johnston and Murphy Shoes/boots. I ended up returning and going with the Upton Lug Plain Toe Boot. More comfortable and less than half the price. It's also waterproof (which I wasn't a fan that these are not)
