Kinetic Impact Short Waterproof Boot (Women)

These could have been perfect if not for the very uncomfortable zipper piece on the inner lower part. There is a stiff piece of fabric where the zipper begins in the lower ankle portions- not even a thick sock could help. I wish SOREL would make these with no zipper-I would buy them immediately because the rest of the boot is so comfortable.

This is my 2nd pair of Sorel booties. Easy to walk in during snowy months as my foot walks evenly on a slipper surface. Takes a bit to get used to the narrow top of the boot which rubs against the skin easily. The foot part of the boot isn't too narrow, only the neck part of the boot. Nice and furry inside and I often wear them without socks. Sorels run small; I usually wear a size 8 in shoes, 8.5 in sneakers, but purchased these in a 9 and they fit very well.

I bought my first black and white Kinetic boot several years ago, and they have been my go-to boot for snow and cold weather. This newer model has a wider footbed - which is great for more stability, and an improved sole which is a great redesign as well. My old ones are still going strong, but when this newer model went on sale I couldn't resist. I usually order my regular size 7 in Sorel boots, but, as per a previous review, I ordered a half size up to be able to wear thicker socks. These fit great and feel fantastic!

I have been a loyal Sorel customer for ten years. And it takes a lot for me to get behind a brand. These boots made 5 people at my workplace compliment them and ask where they could get them. This has happened over ten years with every Sorel pair I debut at work! Oh, and, these boots are wonderfully comfortable and warm!
