L.A.-based design collective Brain Dead brings its eclectic, disruptive ethos to adidas's long-retired Forest Hills tennis shoe and resurrects it in a riot of colors, textures and unexpected details. Celebrated for its ultralightweight feel designed with help from NASA, the sneaker makes an off-court comeback popping with tricolor 3-Stripes, embossing on the tongue, and hairy suede cladding the upper and wrapping the cupsole as a bumper toe. The earthy palette nods to the shoe's '70s heritage while providing a sporty canvas for fresh, collaborative ideas.
