Pacific Low Top Sneaker (Women)

I'm in the process of returning these, and here’s why: Pros: * The shoes are definitely true to size. * The color scheme is cute and retro. * The wraparound sole at the back is very flattering. Areas for improvement: * The shoe is quite wide—so much so that from above, it reminded me of bowling shoes, which wasn't the look I was going for. However, if you have wide feet, you might like these a lot. * The retro-style front with the stripe visually shortens the shoe, making it look squat rather than sleek. * They're pretty flat, offering minimal support. * Lastly, the creasing is a big issue. I only tried them on twice, and they already showed noticeable creases. I can only imagine how worn they'd look after just a couple of weeks.

Nice lifestyle sneaker, probably not enough padding for most people to actually run in though. Looks great with casual pants as well as joggers. I normally get a 9.5 in Nike to run in but I am a true 9 in most shoes. As I'm just wearing casually I got a 9 and it fits just fine- they actually have plenty of room in the toe box which isn't always true for Nike. Comparable to the Cortez but with less of a hoof look, iykyk!

The color I got sold out (they are a dark smoky green, with cream colored swoosh). Out of all the things at the sale, these excited me the most. I love them! I have gotten a pair of Cortez before, and loved those also. These are a lower profile shoe…they *might* be a teeny bit narrow…but I also think my feet are widening as I age. They look solid either with a pair of wide leg jeans, or with a pair of leggings and a sweater (yep-not ashamed that I still rock that look…it’s comfortable and I like it)….pretty sure I’ve worn them with more athletic looking dresses also. These ones though: they will be going to all the Duck events at the University of Oregon.
