Pros: Always love the gummy soles on Sorels! It makes the height of the heel feel very stable. And the style of shoe is very cute. I live in Portland, and got these because I wanted a chic, professional, water resistant shoe that could handle some light puddles; with some additional waterproofing treatment (specifically to the grey fabric top), I think these will do a great job meeting my needs. Cons: Not the most natural fit. Without socks, they are just wide enough not to pinch, and are just a hair too long, making for a bit of a clompy walk. If anything size 9 shoes usually run a bit small for me, so both snug and loose kinda threw me. Overall I find the comfort level medium. The comfort of the shoe primarily comes from the shock absorption of the rubber sole, and not from the interior of the shoe or insoles. Getting the perfect insert that doesn't take away from the width might be the magic trick, although for the price, I do wish I didn't feel like I need to spend more money to gain that comfort.
