Very poor quality
After just three hikes, the sole began to detach, which was incredibly frustrating. I expected better durability from this product, considering also that is an expensive boot. I definitely do not recommend these boots based on my experience. I will think twice about buying Merrell in the future.

awesome boots.
boots are very comfortable and warm. the only thing that needs improvement are the laces. they are very thin, a bit awkward to tie. im used the laces on moab 2 hiking boots which are very durable and thick. overall very happy.

Excellent terrain show
Excellent. Took this to Patagonia in November for 125km of hiking and it dealt with everything - waterproof for the most part, superb grip on all surfaces, comfortable under foot over rocks. I trusted the shoe’s traction on steep downhills and it was great. Maybe some slight concern about durability of the leather at the front seal and towards the edges. But overall a very good purchase and it looks great too.

Hiking the Alps
We hiked for 11 days throughout Austria and Switzerland and the Moab Speed 2 Leathers were amazing! They are the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever owned, they kept my feet warm and dry under some pretty extreme conditions and the traction they provide is fantastic! Highly recommend!
