Dean Derby (Women)

These shoes are exactly what I wanted. They are so comfortable, smart and versatile. I can wear them all day at work, and go out afterwards still wearing them. I love the look, not to chunky, but still they make a statement. I have been looking for shoes like this for sometime, and was trying to buy men's shoes that are small enough for my feet. I then found these and I am very happy.

I've been searching for decades for a chunky leather oxford to replace my JCrew oxfords - an Oxford that has a wider toe bed, and looks like an old man's shoe, with a defined heel and sole, but not looking cheap or like a rave kid. The Dean is a unicorn. It looks great but feels like a feather on my butter (read: sensitive) feet. Needed no break-in time, and wore them for five days straight walking everywhere in Paris. I'm already thinking I need to buy a second pair just for back up. (Also, I ordered a 40, even though I'm a size 8US/8.5US, to achieve the slightly chunkier look I'm after)
