Loo Platform Bootie (Women)

I bought this pair for my wife as a Xmas gift. It would have been her first pair but we returned them. Unfortunately when I received them they completely dirty. Covered in dust and had an ashy grey color to them. I was shocked for the price and the quality control negligence from Nordstrom. I cleaned them thoroughly myself and wrapped them before gifting them. When she finally tried them on they were too small. The shoe was too narrow. Side note my wife as never had to purchase a wide shoe, she’s tall and thin. Oh well, I returned them and bought the next size up. When those came in they just as tight. I returned that pair as well and she lost interest in this brand ultimately. The experience was a disappointment. The shoes were stunning once cleaned but not for everyone. The problem is that majority of Nordstrom don’t have these in stock to try them on. This leads you to purchase sight unseen and hope they fit or delivered clean. My recommendation is purchase from a boutique or Neiman Marcus they have in stock to try on.

Look, if you want a black bootie, do NOT get these. One other review said that they were dirty when they got them, but that's not the case. I don't know why they are marketed as black. I actually tried them on in a boutique and hated the color in person - they seemed more grey to me than black, but thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me. Nope! I got the idea to compare the zipper to another pair of suede loubs and they are, indeed, dark grey. The zippers were totally different colors. So strange. Anyway, the boots were really comfy but I couldn't get behind the grey and didn't like the tan. Then, Nordstrom came in to save the day and released the brown ones! Bought them almost immediately. They are a bit slippery and that can be dangerous with a heel this high and the platform being slightly more narrow than the boot itself, so I ended up putting on some rubber grips on the bottom. I walked around the office in them all day with no pain or having to walk slowly. They're so fun! Highly recommend. They run slightly large compared to other loub booties - I often size up to a 10 or 10.5 in booties to have room for socks, but these were fine in 9.5.
