Huge back strap
The shoe bed fits perfectly, but the back strap hangs out over the back edge of the shoe bed leaving a huge gap between the strap and my foot. It’s too bad because they’re cute sandals. Really wanted to keep them, but because of this defect, I must return them.

Cheap Velcro strap
I do not think these are worth over $100 at all. The strap enclosure at the ankle is a thin strip of Velcro, I was stunned to discover that, I returned to the description and do not see where it says there is a Velcro enclosure— only the two buckle enclosures over the top of the foot. I think that was misleading, and can’t imagine it will stay closed for long when walking (nor with the way Velcro fades over time. And how toddlers use Velcro on cheap short lasting sneakers but I should not have Velcro on my pricey adult shoes). I’m so disappointed by this Velcro enclosure and the cheap feel and appearance of the straps, I thought they would be nicer. They felt comfortable when on (hence the extra star) but I’m returning them.

Comfortable and cute
These are among the most comfortable Dansko sandals I have ever bought (and I have bought quite a few). I wore them on a recent trip that involved a lot of walking and they didn’t need any time to break in. The footbed is both comfortable and supportive and unlike some other of my otherwise favorite Dansko sandals with a slick footbed, these have a soft suede footbed similar to Birkenstocks so my feet didn’t slide around at all. The straps are adjustable and very cute and I got a lot of compliments. I wish the silver was not antiqued but it’s still a nice color and a good neutral. I will wear these frequently this summer.
