Nice, Not Quite a Birkenstock
Really want to love these, but I don’t find the footbed to quite meet what I would expect from a Birkenstock. They are definitely more supportive than the average shoe with a sculpted footbed, but not nearly as supportive as a typical Birkenstock. I had expected a thicker cork sole, but there is only a thin layer of cork and a fairly thin sole overall. I’ve been wearing them in to see if they’ll start to mold to my foot, but it doesn’t seem like they will. Really nice quality suede and impressive construction of the shoe for this price. Wider toe box than the average shoe which is really comfortable. Would be a 10/10 if they had a classic Birkenstock sole and I would happily pay more!
