Papillio by Birkenstock Arizona Flex Platform Sandal (Women)

Beautiful shoe! Zinfandel color is truly yummy. Absolutely comfortable. I have Fred Flinstone feet and my foot sits perfectly in the shoe after adjusting buckles. It’s also quite light, which I wasn’t expecting. I was expecting a heavier shoe due to the platform. For some reason my ankle does not love the shoe. Each of my feet has slipped on at least three occasions; once while walking down a stoop. If you are a clumsy walker, I do not recommend this shoe at all. If you are a stable walker, I highly recommend this shoe in any shade available. It really is very comfortable, when I’m not almost breaking my neck.

Well, I have to agree with other reviews. The color is not the same. I was hoping for more of a rish cognac/rust color (pictured with my iced tea), but they turned out a flat-looking brown. Meh. The sizing is a bit narrower than I remember (I own five pairs of Birks). I had to let both buckles out. I'm also going to have more of a break-in period than I remember. But, I love the lift! Praying the 'break-in period' goes okay. Jury is out. Grateful I bought them from Nordy's in case I need to return.

These are great! Comfortable and good arch support, these are the narrow fit so they look and fit so much better than the original. I walked for a couple of hours with no foot pain, don’t know for a longer time. The arch support feels good on the foot though, just right not too high, and in the right foot location. I recommend these for people with foot issues.
