beautiful boots!
These ankle boots are FABULOUS!!! I was a little concerned when the color description said "taupe," but took a chance that the color was correctly depicted in the online photo. Thankfully, it was. The color is kind of a burnished black/dark brown. The leather is much more supple than the Frye boots I had bought and returned and much more comfortable straight out of the box. The only criticism I have is a lack of arch support, but that can be remedied with insoles; and they are a little slick on the bottom, especially on carpet. I presume that will get better with wear.
