Great shoe - while it lasted
I bought these in March - We're in September and they just haven't held up. Uppers are still ok, but the shoe is now mostly unwearable and causes a lot of foot pain. I have other Mephisto shoes and love them - Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I expected more for the price paid, certainly expected better longevity.

So comfortable all day
I've been wearing this shoe daily at work (standing 8-10hrs) daily x 1 year, about 40 hours per week. This shoe has unparalleled quality and comfort. The black finish holds up against scuffing and still looks great. The shoe is very comfortable and I'm looking to get another color.

Misleading color

an unusual note perhaps: the way the shoe laces are placed in the shoe allows for variable adjustment as they are tightened. This is great : it accommodates different sock thicknesses easily

Great shoe, but runs large (at least 14 does)
Giving this a 3/5 for now as they run large, at least in the bigger size. I wear a 14 in Hokas, Keens but these are just a bit big but seem well made and otherwise comfortable. Returning them to try a 13.5 - will post another review once I give those a try. Also mine had a weird scuff on the left shoe right out of the box.
