Jerry Suede Penny Loafer (Women)

Love the look and feel of these loafers. I was really surprised how comfortable they are. I have since worn them all day many times and they are still my fav shoe in my closet. I get many compliments on them as well. Loving them months later. I look often to see if GG has come out with a pair in black!

Well DANG IT! I was so excited to snag these lovelies in my size. I was looking for a deep dark chocolate brown penny loafer iand this checked all the boxes for a super cute casual shoe. They had nice padding around the heel. But once I put them on, they felt more like a size 5, maybe a 5-1/2? They felt extremely loose on my feet and I kept walking out of them. But had they fit, I’m betting they would have been extremely comfortable. So disappointed.

So disappointed - they look so much better in photos online and run extremely large. These loafers are a lovely shade of dark brown but that’s really the only good thing I can say about them. The suede is a very poor quality and the stitching is poorly done with crooked seams. Inside the forefoot has a very prominent ridge that is uncomfortable to walk on. This shoe design is a total fail and for the somewhat expensive price point a very poor value.

These are lovely – they’re elegant, light, supportive. The leather qualities seems top-notch. They are true to size and for a true 8 1/2 and size 39 is just too large. My heel slipped out slightly, and my toes were just swimming in it although the length could’ve worked. Ordering a half size larger doesn’t work unless you want to wear it with a sock all the time.
