Calakala Espadrille Platform Sandal (Women)

I adore these shoes and they’re going to be timeless. They’re lightweight and well made. The heal is a great height , I’m 5’9” and I appreciate a heal that’s just enough without pushing me over 6’. It’s a comfortable height heal too. I usually size up with Louboitin’s so no problems there. I’m a size 9.5 and purchased 41’s. There’s a little extra length at the toe but it looks beautiful and fits better. The widest part of the foot is tight but it fits. Buy shoe stretchers ion Amazon and pop them in for a week and you’re good to go Plus, let’s talk about the red bottoms. These are perfect because they’re super cute and stylish but then you sit down and cross your legs and give everyone a peep at the boss sandal.

I waited a few weeks to get this sandal and unfortunately was disappointed upon opening. The shoe is extremely heavy - I was expecting a light weight summer espadrille feel but these are more like walking in winter clogs. The raffia is unique on the footbed but when on your foot it makes the front of your foot appear longer than it is. For me 'I have to love them to keep them' - these just don't make the cut.
