Questionable sizing; issue with decorative strap
I tried this shoe in both 7.5M and 8M and could not discern any difference! I held them sole to sole and they were identical. Both pairs fit like an 8M, my usual size. This is a beautiful shoe; the leather is high quality and should mold to the foot easily. The construction is also high quality with the exception of the decorative leather and metal strap across the insole, which sags toward the toe and lies somewhat crooked crosswise. Each shoe of the pair has this problem. They were returned.

Lunatic sizing
These might be the prettiest loafers I've ever seen with a color that the picture doesn't begin to do justice to. Unfortunately the sizing makes no sense at all. I can normally buy a European 39 without needing to try them on. This shoe size (8/39) was at least a half-size too small. I then ordered the 8.5/39.5, which was at least a full size too big. If you can find a Gentle Souls size that fits you, buy these shoes. Unfortunately I need to return them.

Disappointing Poor Fit!
Leather is very thin and sharp in the edges. Shoes run deep in the heel, heel area is wide and slips. Top of leather rubs on ankle by heel area. Returned then.

Black sole attracts dirt and dust
The color of the shoes is pretty as pictured. They fit me well too. But the amount of noticeable dirt and dust that accumulates on the sides of the soles cause me to hesitate in keeping these. I’m disappointed.
