Karson Wingtip Double Monk Strap Shoe (Men)

These shoes looked great to me in the photos online, but once I received them there were a couple of things that bothered me about them before I ever tried them on. First, I thought that the textured leather heel would look ok, but when I had the shoes in my hands I had second thoughts about it. Additionally, the leather uppers felt very thin to me, and the combination of leather, and man made materials in the uppers was not what I expected. Also, it looked to me like the heel block is made of plastic instead of stacked leather. For these reasons I think that it is unlikely that these shoes could ever be resoled when the time came to do that. I will say that while I only tried them on briefly, they were very comfortable right out of the box. These shoes were not expensive, so if you are looking for a casual dress shoe to wear to an event, and are not worried about long-term durability, or if they are repairable, then these shoes might work for you. They were just not the shoe for me so I returned them. YMMV
